The city sits on Lake Marble Falls, the next lake downstream from Lake LBJ on the Colorado River. Like Lake LBJ, it's one of the pass-through lakes in the Highland Lakes chain managed by the LCRA, and its shoreline is home to plenty of second homes of its own.
