The first hour sets the tone
You know the routine. You arrive after a long drive, the house is 88 degrees inside, the ice maker is empty, the patio cushions are in storage, a couple of bulbs are out, and there are spiders webs everywhere. The first evening of your weekend goes to opening the house.
Our arrival service exists to give you that evening back. Tell us you're coming 72 hours ahead, and you walk into a home that's ready to be enjoyed.
Before you arrive
With 72 hours' notice we complete a full pre-visit prep:
- Comfort. Thermostats are set so the house is comfortable when you open the door — no small thing in a Texas summer.
- The kitchen. Ice machines and other appliances are turned on ahead of time. If you've pre-ordered groceries, we pick them up and deliver them to the house.
- Outdoor living. Cushions are brought out to the patio and the property is blown.
- The little things. Every light bulb works and nothing is beeping.
- The water. Your dock is de-webbed put in order.
After you leave
Leaving should be as easy as arriving. Once you head home, we take care of the close-up:
- Lights turned out and thermostats reset, so you aren't cooling an empty house.
- Cushions stored out of the weather.
- Trash managed — nothing left to sit in the Texas heat until your next visit.
- Housekeeping scheduled, so the home is clean well before you return.
- Any maintenance needs reviewed and added to your home's maintenance list.
All we ask is that you complete a short review form on your way out, telling us what needs attention before next time.
Part of the "always ready" system
Arrival and departure service is the most visible part of what we do, but it works because of everything behind it. Weekly walk-throughs mean there are no surprises waiting for us — or you — three days before a holiday weekend. Read more about how the whole process works.
